Runners, riders and tips

13:35 Al Quoz Sprint – MAN OF PROMISE was just 8th in this race 12 months ago and this season has looked at an all round improved model that was successful in returning at list level before landing the C&D Nad Al Sheba Turf Sprint 3 weeks ago. He should prove hard to beat if he shows up in the same form and can make the hat trick perfect. Stablemates Creative Force, Suesa and A Case of You cite the dangers

14:10 UAE Derby – PINEHURST, last year’s Del Mar Futurity winner, used his experience as he was the best in the Saudi derby 4 weeks ago. Moored well in Box 6, Bob Baffert’s charge is taken to make his first start on these banks a successful one. Irwin’s success in South America last year gave him a say in the negotiations, with Sekifu and Combustion also being considered in an open extension of the UAE derby.
