SW & GSP Fiducia is the mother of Gun Runner’s first Japanese runner | jbis.jp


In this ongoing series, we take a look forward to US-bred and / or designed runners enrolled on the Japan Racing Association circuits for the upcoming weekend with an emphasis on pedigree and / or performance in the sales ring. Here are the interesting horses for this weekend running on the Hanshin and Sapporo racetracks, including the first Japanese runner to be the Horse of the Year Gun Runner:

The progressive LOTUS LAND (f, 4, entry point – Little Miss Muffet, from Scat Daddy) has ended six of her seven career trips on the post in the Exacta and is starting this first attempt of the black type due to victories in a row on this route, a first allowance for this trip on March 28 and a gentle win over nine furlongs, as they were last seen on April 18th (see below, Gate 4). GRAN APLAUSO (c, 2, Gun Runner-Fiducia, from Medaglia d’Oro) becomes the first Japanese starter for his freshman sire (by Candy Ride {Arg}) and is his mother’s first foal, a Japanese listed winner over six stadiums and a close second in the G3 Ibis Summer Dash (1000m). Fiducia is a daughter of the Japanese master Believe (Jpn) (Sunday Silence), who is also responsible for the connections MSW & G1SP Faridat (Kingmambo) and GSW & G1SP Gendarme (Kitten’s Joy). 7. HSN, € 14,360,000 ($ 130,000), Tax allowance, 3 years / more, 1800 m
ROSE EMPEROR (c, 3, Medaglia d’Oro – Arch Support, by Arch) was repurchased on the September 2019 Keeneland sale with a bid of $ 220,000, but was knocked down on OBS March for $ 350,000 after cracking an eighth mile in: 10 1/5. The late April foal is a veteran of two starts to date, both on this track and this distance, including a second place in the debut on February 14th before a close first win on March 21st (see below, start 7) . Rose Emperor’s dam was second in GIII Miss Grillo S. 2010 for this breeder and trainer Gary Contessa. B-Lee Pokoik (KY)
